SYR is a politically independent organization based in Oslo, empowering Somali youth in Norway and Somalia.
We support youth aged 10–23 and believe young people are experts in their own lives. That’s why we create safe spaces where their voices guide our work and values like Fair Play, teamwork, and legal awareness take center stage.

From crime prevention programs in Norway to peacebuilding through football in Somalia, SYR’s work spans borders to support Somali youth. We focus on leadership, mental health, and education—creating safe and inspiring environments where young people can grow, lead, and thrive.
